Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about SwapZilla to swap crypto like a pro.
About the Service
SwapZilla is a crypto exchange rate aggregator. We're not an exchange ourselves — we show you offers from multiple vetted providers, you choose the best one and complete the swap, all in one interface. No redirects to third-party sites.
A regular exchange gives you one rate — theirs. SwapZilla shows you rates from multiple providers at once for your pair and amount — you compare and pick the best deal. Without leaving the platform.
Providers are the exchange services that actually execute your swap. Each one goes through a vetting process before being added to the platform — nothing is connected automatically. You can always see which provider is handling your swap in the interface when selecting a pair.
No. No accounts, no forms, no documents. Just enter your wallet address and go.
The Swap Process
Five steps:
1. Choose your pair (what you're sending and what you want to receive)
2. Enter the recipient wallet address
3. See rates from multiple providers — pick the best one
4. Send your crypto to the provider's address (SwapZilla shows it in the interface)
5. The provider executes the swap — crypto arrives at your address
Track the status in real time on the order page.
To the provider's deposit address, which SwapZilla displays in the interface after you've selected a pair and confirmed the terms. It's a standard transaction from any wallet — no registration required anywhere.
Usually a few minutes to half an hour — around 15 minutes on average. It depends on the network and provider load. You can track the status on the order page the whole time.
**Floating** — the rate is calculated at the moment of the swap based on the current market price. The final amount may differ slightly from what you saw when creating the order. Sometimes in your favor, sometimes not.
**Fixed** — the amount you receive is locked when you create the order. Markets move — your rate doesn't. What you see is what you get.
Floating works for most swaps. If the amount is large or you want certainty — go fixed.
SwapZilla doesn't add any fees on top of the provider's rate. What you see in the interface is the final amount. No hidden charges.
If the swap didn't complete, funds are returned to the refund address you set when creating the order. If you didn't set one or something went wrong — contact support. We'll sort it out.
Security and Trust
No. SwapZilla doesn't hold your funds. You send crypto directly to the provider's address — it goes straight through to the recipient. We're not a custodian and don't maintain a separate wallet for your assets.
SwapZilla monitors the swap process and acts as a neutral third party in disputes. If a provider didn't follow through or something went wrong — reach out to support. We'll investigate and help resolve it.
Yes, 24/7. Reach us on Telegram or by email. We respond quickly.
SwapZilla doesn't link swaps to an account — there isn't one. We don't collect personal data or maintain a user transaction history on the platform.
Technical Questions
500+ tokens across 100+ networks, including cross-chain swaps. The current list is always visible in the widget — just type in a token and see if it's available. The list keeps growing as we add new providers.
Yes. MetaMask, hardware wallet, mobile app — it doesn't matter. SwapZilla doesn't require you to connect your wallet to the platform. You just enter the recipient address and send from your own wallet like a regular transaction.
Yes. That's exactly what SwapZilla is for. Swap straight from your wallet — no exchange accounts, no verification, no extra transfers. Just send from wherever is convenient.
Always double-check the address before sending. Blockchain transactions can't be reversed — not by us, not by the provider. Copy the address, verify the first and last characters. If you've already sent to the wrong address — unfortunately, those funds can't be recovered.
SwapZilla Pay (Merchant Payments)
SwapZilla Pay is a tool for accepting crypto payments via shareable links. You generate a payment link, your customer pays in any crypto they have, and you receive the coin and network you picked — straight to your wallet. No account, no KYC, no merchant onboarding.
A regular swap is one-sided — you swap your own crypto. Pay is two-sided: a customer pays you. They send any coin they have, the swap happens behind the scenes, and you receive the coin you specified at the best aggregated rate.
No. No sign-up, no email, no KYC. Pick the asset and network you want to receive in, enter your payout address, and share the link. The URL is the only way back to that link — bookmark it before closing the page.
Yes. They can pay in BTC, ETH, USDT, XMR or any other supported coin — across 100+ networks. SwapZilla aggregates rates from 8+ providers in real time and routes the cheapest path to the coin you want to receive.
SwapZilla doesn't add a fee on top of the provider rate. The amount your customer sees is the amount that gets routed — no hidden cuts on the merchant side either.
No. Your customer's payment is swapped through a provider and sent directly to the payout address you set when creating the link. SwapZilla has no wallet that ever owns your money.
Each link has an expiration. If the customer doesn't deposit before it expires, the link moves to Expired and no swap happens — funds were never moved. Create a new link and share it again.
If something goes wrong on the payer side — wrong amount sent, network drop mid-transfer — the refund address is where their crypto goes back. Skipping it means support has to recover funds manually. Always recommend filling it in.
Yes. POST /v1/pay/merchant/requests creates payment requests, and you can subscribe to payment.created, payment.updated, and payment.completed webhook events. Each webhook is signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-SwapZillaPay-Signature header. Full reference at /pay/docs. API keys are issued on request via [email protected].
